Spency turns 2!!!

O.K well he's not officially 2 till tomorrow, but over the last 2 days he's done a lot of celebrating the fact that he's about to turn another year older & wiser too :)

Yesterday we took cupcakes to creche so he could have morning tea with all his creche buddies - which he was super chuffed about!....

And then this morning when he woke up between Mum & Dad (I can't remember what ungodly hour he finally weasled his way into our bed after I'd given up trying to take him back into his own), the first thing he sat up & said was "Is it my birthday??" haha....no wonder he'd slept even worse than usual during the night! Guess it was like the night before Christmas for him in anticipation of his party today :) I didn't realise he grasped the concept of what tomorrow meant yet, but I'll certainly watch what I talk to him about before bed in the future if I want a good night's sleep!!

So anyways, I told him that it wasn't his birthday, but it was his party day today which he was just as happy about :)

Unfortunately the Heke family couldn't make it as they were sick with tummy bugs, but we were super excited to meet the Willoughby's at Inflatable World, so off we went.....

Nat, Kris & the boys didn't make it till about an hour after we got there, so these two just ran around so sweetly together :) Mac was such a cool big brother lifting Spence onto slides he couldn't climb up on & then putting him on his knee to slide back down again. I totally LOVE those brief moments when they're playing nicely together cause it's pretty much World War 3 alot of the time around our place at the moment between those two :( 

Stan just happened to be STARVING about 5 minutes after we got there so he HAD to go & get a choccie bar & potato chips (annoying!!), which of course meant the end to Spence's playing as soon as he saw there was food on offer! (p.s Stan had been sitting at the kitchen bench for two hours before we left for Inflatable World so I'm not exactly sure why he didn't think to get himself breakfast with being so starving & all!!)....

So after the Willoughby's arrived & the boys had played for a bit longer it was off to Maccas for lunch. Grandie, Bubu, Aunty Tash, Jose, Shylah, Ben & Josh joined us for this part too :)

Poor Shylah wasn't feeling very well so she didn't want any photos taken today, but here's a few pics of the rest of our partygoers...

Such a fun day today! Not cool that some of the cuzzies were sick but we hope everyone's better for Jordy's birthday next Saturday where we get to party all over again!!! Yay, can't wait!!
