YWs lately....Beehives Conference & Photo Scavenger Hunt

So right after our busy week of school production & the very day after Grandie's big op, we had our Beehives mini conference that the girls had been looking forward to for ages!!

Georgia, our Beehives President had planned the whole thing earlier on in the year but as there was a Stake Youth conference happening for just the 14-18 year olds, we decided to have it the same weekend as their one so the Beehives wouldn't feel too left out :)

Some of the older girls actually ended up being jealous of what they'd heard the Beehives were doing as Georgia had such a fun schedule planned!

The theme for the conference was "Stay calm & Bee Unique" so Georgia had asked us all to meet at her house at 9:30am with our favourite breakfast to eat together.

I took along my oats which is what I always have for breakfast, but when we arrived at the Donson's home, Jo was in the middle of cooking a big buffet breakfast complete with muffins, hash browns, french toast, fresh fruit & orange juice. What a great start to the day!!

After that it was onto making our own coasters.....

Fish 'n' chips for lunch....

And then off to Ice Skating :) I was pretty worried about this part of the day cause it's been so long since I'd last been, but thankfully it's just like riding a bike so once I got into my groove it was really, really fun!

We finished off the day by heart attacking our YW's president, Sarah, as it was her birthday that day too.....so all & all it was a really fun filled day & so nice to get to know my girls a whole lot better! They really are such sweeties xxx

Then the tuesday after the conference, we had a photo scavenger hunt with all the YW. Here are just a few of the pics from my team below....it's so cool that daylight savings has started so we can get out & do more things in the evening now!
