5 night cuzzie sleepover with the Hekes!!

These school holidays started off with a bang for us as we went straight from the madness of 3 late nights of school production to a 5 night cuzzie sleepover at the Hekes. Mell & Jo celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago so Mell decided to surprise Jo by booking a trip to Melbourne!!

So after I finished work at 1:30pm on Friday afternoon it was straight home to pack & then over to Summerland to pick up the 3 big kids and then on to fetch Dallsy.

They all wanted to head over to the park straight after that so since it was holidays & we had absolutely NOTHING on the agenda, their wish was my command!! They started off at the playground & then gravitated towards the skatepark where they pretended to scooter around & do tricks on their imaginary scooters lol

Our first "family" pics :) Just a little bit excited to be together!!!

When we were leaving Dalls did a no 2 in the toilets & there was no toilet paper to wipe afterwards!! And then we hopped in the car & Ella's nose started bleeding! So it was a quick drive home to get some paper to sort out both problems!!

On Saturday Grandie came over to "help" out so we went down to Birdwood park & the kids played around & we had a basketball shooting comp (where everyone was pretty equally shocking!)

After about an hour Grandie suggested that it was probably time to go home for some ice cream and fruit salad for afternoon tea :) We probably could've gotten at least another couple of hours out of the park but the kids were happy with the sound of icecream so off we went...

This little Missy came to me & said that she had weed in her shorts but luckily we still had her bag from daycare in the car so I got her changed into these overalls & then she went around telling everyone she was "Dennis ma nenace"

I brought over some church clothes that Spence had grown out of for Seffy. Check out this handsome dude :)

3 handsome boys! Unfortunately Mac had already taken his shoes off by then, but he had worn these church clothes
to church with Faiths bright purple & too big for him, Nikes lol....
he couldn't find his shoes in the morning & we were running late so I was just like whatever! Put them on & get in the car!!
We found his shoes out by the tramp later on after church - totally soaking from all the rain :(

Trying to get a nice pic of them all in their church clothes

Dalls was in the door & straight to the room to get her comfys on...her mum's trained her well lol

This little chatterbox told me the whole story of Goldilocks & the 3 bears while I made her porridge for lunch

Our Sunday afternoon quiet time craft

Pod with all her creations

All pink errthang for Dalls

This was what the table looked like every night with all the plates layed out for 6 mouths to feed....

Mell chose really good quick & easy dinners to feed the masses too! My boys thought they were super yummy having cheese & everthing on them so they had second helpings of all of them. Ella is definitely her mother's daughter and was the pickiest mouth to feed!

 10 pen bowling at Xtreme

Spence couldn't get enough of snuggles with Pod & wherever she would sit on the couch, he'd be right there next to her

Off to see the Emoji movie. Best cartoon I've seen in ages. All of us chose bulk bins lollies except for Ella who chose tic tacs! I felt sorry for her so gave her some of mine, but Mell said she really loves them & has done it before haha

Walking through the mall...so cute!

When I dropped Dalls off in the morning & asked what she wanted for her treat after kindy she said "something pink" so she was super chuffed with her pinky bar

Back to the colouring station. These colouring in books were worth their weight in gold.
We just left them on the table & they would wander up & have a colour between their tramp & movie rotations

Ella was dying for her chicken nuggets so we made burgers with them on the last night & she was like a pig in mud

Snapchats with Dalls every morning

Man I was so happy to be home & not living out of bag anymore, but I've really missed my other 4 little people since Wednesday! Was so cool to get to spend some cuzzie & aunty time together and make some super special memories like that!

Spence's 6th birthday xxxx

This was me trying to get a photo of my little baby on the last night of him being a 5 year old. As you can see he wasn't very cooperative, but I need to document these special moments cause I know that in a year or two I'll miss this little 5 year old grin, just the way I already miss his gummy little smile from back when he was a baby. Crazy to think that he's grown from that into a giant 6 year old now!!!

He's not too old to still LOVE Georgie though!!! (I don't know if he'll ever grow out of Georgie!!)

I really do feel so forever grateful to be this little monkey's Mumma xxxx

After he went to bed I stayed up late prepping his special lunchbox :)

Spence is still ALL about food so wrapping up some special lunch treaties was an easy way to show him some birthday love ;)

It's probably the last year I can put his photo on the front and write this kind of note though cause he said it was a little bit embarrassing!

Let's get a close up of that precious face x

Birthday pancakes in the morning (even though we had to rush off to work & school!)

Then after school it was off to Xtreme for a round of bowling & a play at
kidzone with Shy, Blakey & his 3 besties from school (Toby, Chris & Isaac)

I managed to convince him to hold his cake off until Monday so we could do a joint one with Grandma Julies
- which was also our 1st ever vegan sponge!
Not quite as good as what we're used to, but it totally did the trick so they were happy with that!
