Uncle Pete introduced the Spider to scooter rides & now he throws a tanty whenever he sees it until someone'll give him a push. Good one Uncle Pete!

On Wednesday morning it was such a nice surprise to have two strapping young men show up at our door to do the lawns. They did such a great job too! It looks awesome :) Thanks Dad & Uncle Pete xx

Dad does such a great job of keeping all the headstones neat & tidy. I'm hoping these guys take note of how it's done cause we're gonna have to step up & do the same for him once he's gone :( (which we hope is still many many years away!)

It took about 1/2 an hour to find Grandpa Rose's headstone 

this time for some reason, but we got there in the end :)

Was so cool to visit Mama again. It's been way too long! Can't wait till the day I get to see her again for real....but until that day, here & at the temple is the next best thing xxx The perfect end to the perfect day!....

Well actually then Spence cried on & off the WHOLE way home, but it was still a really cool day :)

13 months

So our little Spider is now 13 months old - as of last Monday anyways 

(I'm late again as usual!)

So what are his favourite things to do at the moment?? 

- Go to the park (slide down the slide, climb up again & repeat)

- Chase birds

- Spit (still!!!)

- Cuddles (I love how this little guy is so cuddly xx)

- Brush teeth (you just have to say the words & he'll do the sign for brushing teeth & head for the bathroom lol)

- Posting things wherever they'll fit (including my iphone in the toilet!! ANNOYING!!)

He seems to be understanding alot more this past month. It's so cute that you can tell him to get his shoes & socks & he'll bring them to you to put them on.....o.k so maybe he doesn't always bring HIS shoes & socks....if someone else's shoes are closer he'll bring those instead :) He had heaps of fun clomping around in Mac's boots yesterday (I wonder if his shoe fetish will continue for awhile like Mac's did?? lol) 

We had a cool time down at Onepoto basin on Saturday playing at the park & walking around the pond. I always find it funny that babies Spence's age have no idea about water, or drowning I guess I should say, so just want to walk right in.

Mac was stressing out & telling me off every time I'd put Spence down cause he'd walk right to the edge & I'd have to quickly scoop him up before he went for a swim :)

Mac Attack

I've been meaning to write this post for the longest time now, just as an update on where Mac's at. 

When Spence started walking Mac was as excited as the rest of us (at first), but it also seemed to bring out a few insecurities as I guess it maybe seemed to him like Spence was suddenly getting ALL of the praise & attention.

Anyways, he mustn't have been too happy about this & he started trying to fight for some of his spotlight back by disappearing into Spence's room for little periods & then coming back dressed as a baby!! 

As you can see this happened more than once & he also started asking for his milk in a bottle again, "just like Spencer" lol

Thank goodness this little phase only lasted a couple of weeks & he is now back to normal (well as normal as Mac can be!)

It's nice to have some peace & quiet as I type this as my ears are a little sore after having him home for two weeks for kindy holidays lol.....I do feel super blessed to have such a smart little cookie though & I never have to wonder if he loves me cause he tells me he does a million times a day :) :) I love you too my precious xxxx

  

  

The after dinner ritual now is for Mac to build a cushion slide/play area off the couch so he can jump around & do roly polys. He's only allowed to do it if he eats all of his dinner, which for now is working a treat!!

Spence thinks it's great & always tries to get in on the action too :)
