The Tuesday before last Mac had his 1st school athletics day, so with Stan, being Stan, as soon as he heard there was going to be an athletics day he started taking Mac down to Kaipatiki Park in the afternoons so they could get in some practice :)
The boys are so lucky they have a dad who plays such an active role in helping them to do their best cause I know it sounds lame, but most of the time I'm more concerned about getting the dinner cooked, getting the washing folded & getting them ready for bed than fitting in all the little extras that he makes time for....love that they get these special little bonding moments though ;)
And I'm happy to report that all their practice hours paid off too cause Mac smoked the others in his heat!

The winners of each heat were meant to take part in the final, but for some reason Mac's name didn't get called out, but that was all good cause we already know our little monkey's a winner! Can't wait for next year now :)
